How to ApplyWe recognise that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent makes and we are happy to answer your questions and introduce you to our Principal.
When you are ready to make an application, you can either complete an Online Application Form or fill one out at the school itself. We will also need the following documents:
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate
- A copy of your child’s passport, visa and Emirates ID
- A copy of both parents’ passport, visa and Emirates ID
- 5 Passport photos of your child
- Your child’s most recent school report or nursery school report
If you are new to Dubai, or still overseas, we are happy to accept your application whist these documents are being processed. We will need copies once your visa and Emirates ID have been issued in order to register your child with KHDA as required.
Your child will be invited to an introductory session where they will take part in age appropriate activities designed so that we can understand your child more fully. These sessions can be held individually or with a small group of children of the same age. If your child has been diagnosed with any learning needs, including being gifted and talented, please ensure that you share that with the team in advance so that we can design our introductory assessment to suit your child.
While your child is being assessed, our team will be happy to answer any remaining questions that you may have.
We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place within 5 days. To secure your child’s place, we will need you to sign and return the offer letter, pay the Enrolment Fee of 3,500 AED and ensure that we have copies of all of the supporting documents. If we have not received confirmation within 10 days of our offer, we will be free to offer your child’s place to another child. A Health Certificate and, for children entering into Years 1 – 6, a Transfer Certificate, are required before your child starts at Oaktree.
Admissions are open for FS1 to Year 6 for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Academic Years.
